Woodstock
Woodstock (also known as "Woody") is incredibly smart and needs a lot of enrichment, both physical and mental. He adores taking walks and loves nothing more than playing fetch. This smart cookie would excel in activities like agility, obedience trials, hiking, and running followed up by a variety of food puzzle games. Woodstock also loves splashing around in the pool. Woodstock has had some difficulty in the shelter and adjusting to a typical companion animal home. This smart boy has consistently been super focused and engaged during training sessions with multiple handlers, in different environments and with various distractions. However, he has struggled with limited impulse control and the ability to regulate arousal during down time in a home or shelter setting. This has been displayed with jumpy/mouthy behavior, some head-whipping with collar handling, toy fixation and intense pulling on walks (usually towards smells). If you like to get out and explore, Woodstock is ready and willing to join in! While he definitely has a go switch, this boy is also working hard on perfecting his off switch. With some patience and a little elbow grease, he would adore a place on the couch next to you to hang out once play time is over. Woodstock's first evaluation test is included in the video on this page, you can view his complete playlist here: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLNmxDYewYD8Gkhs4yC7mieQAV0SaJ419C
