Rikki - Rescues 2the Rescue

Rikki

Rikki

Rikki is a 1.5 year old Belgian Malinois/ German Shepherd cross who needs a job or sport where she can get the daily mental stimulation and exercise she needs. She was deemed unadoptable at an open intake shelter due to her dog reactivity and high drive. She has shown the play and hunt drive for detection. She would rather play fetch than tug and prefers tennis balls to any other toy. With her dog reactivity, she will ignore the other dog to engage with a toy with the handler. She is phenomenal with every person she meets and has not shown any environmental problems. She will work for food but her toy drive is much higher. Has not shown any food resource guarding issues and does well with "out" with the two toy method. She is spayed, up to date on vaccines (DHLPP, CIV, Bordetella, and Rabies), is current on flea/tick control, has been dewormed, and is heartworm negative.
